To put it bluntly, this year's gardening season sucked. Between the really wet weather early-on followed by the summer heat immediately after, I just coudn't keep some of the crops alive long enough to produce a single lonely fruit.
No Cucumbers...
No Butternut Squash...
No Zucchini.... (Even with close to 20 plants)
No Popcorn or Sweet Corn...
Very few large tomatoes
But there were two items that were my saving grace. Beans and cherry tomatoes. I don't know what made the cherry tomatoes so prolific, but I'm sure not complaining. They're sweet, delicious, and amazingly plentiful.
And pretty too...
